Whoa Wee! Before our project got started, there is already some suggestions to expand it.
Consideration: What if there are too many people asking for help at the same time?
a. Do they just sit there while waiting for their turn?
b. Do they take a number and go home first?
c. Set up a language corner where storybooks with cassette/vcds are available so that they can listen to the story as they go through the words ( earphones, of course! )
Sounds like a good idea, don't you think so?

Maxis CyberlinQ Competition
After some consideration, we have decided to do a community project to benefit the primary school pupils in the Kg. Sg. Ayam and Kg. Sg. Suloh area.
Name of Project:
English Language Support Centre
Objective:
To assist primary school pupils in the community to complete their English Language homework.
Duration:
Twice a week from February to October (Special Holidays not included)
Two to three hours per session.
We aim to start the project in February 2008.
Manpower:
Coordinator of the project: Mr. Lim Aik Leong and
Members of Yeong Chang Cyberlinq Kids.
(Additional manpower as and when the need arises)
Place:
A suitable place to be decided upon.
Suggestions and offers are most welcome.
Costing and Budgetting:
This will be worked out in the coming weeks.
We plan to make it foc for the children who come in.
Looking for kind and generous sponsors to run the programme.

The Headmaster, Madam Kua Lee Ching received information from Maxis corporation concerning this competition..
24th July 2007
She informed Mr. Lim Aik Leong and invited him to be the coordinator of the project.
25th July 2007
Mr. Lim took on the project and invited a number of pupils to form the team. A team name was decided upon: Yeong Chang Cyberlinq Kids. The team decided on a project to assist the community in providing support for English Language homework.

The team was successfully registered with the competitions committee. Yahoo!
